Lower Face Treatments

Surgical options may be recommended for advanced problems. However non surgical treatments can produce dramatic improvement particularly in early changes.

The typical appearance of the lower face changes with age.
  • Bone bone structure is resorbed
  • Muscle tone may be lost, causing a flabby or droopy appearance.
  • The jowls may begin to sag, leading to a "double chin".

The muscles through the neck can pull the jaw line down however their action may be reversed by the Neuro-muscular modulator (Btx).

Thicker fillers can be placed along the jaw line to mask the deficits that occur at the chin and jaw line.
